Our Mission Statement

While not perfect, we strive every day to do the following; and as our knowledge about the environment and food grows, we promise to reevaluate our practices.

  • Permanently preserve Seven Brothers Farm.
  • Draw lessons from our rural heritage to help build a positive future, demonstrating that local, organically minded, low-impact food production grows healthy communities and ecosystems.
  • Promote connections between people of all ages and the land that feeds them, in body, mind and spirit.
  • Foster a recognition of personal responsibility for a stewardship of the land, ourselves and our community.
  • Maintain a well- balanced ecosystem and rich soils that produce nutrient dense foods while treating the environment and the animals with respect.
  • Stay organically minded and GMO free whenever possible.
  • Keep our meat antibiotic and hormone free.
  • Process our animals at a first class USDA process, cut and wrap facility and ensure each cut has complete traceability to our animals as well as the real story behind it, so you know just where your food comes from.
  • Give back to our community through our student farmer program and the bloom project.
